Final Instructions: How I Became A Pirate.

We are very excited you are coming to SCERA’s Theatre for Young Audiences production of “How I Became A Pirate.”

Here are a few basics you’ll need to know:

If you ordered the $1 treat combo: the treat combo (small cup of popcorn, candy and fruit juice box drink) will be pre-set on a table. You will go down both sides of the table and quickly take one of each

The show begins at 10:00am and will end at approximately 11:15am. This includes the show and a short Question & Answer session with the cast following the show. There is no intermission.

Doors open at 9:30am. You enter at the front of the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, through the middle doors on the front porch on the west side facing State Street.

Many groups carpool or drive separately. The majority of your group needs to be there before we can seat you, so encourage everyone to be on time!

We usually seat first-come, first-serve – row by row. But every day is a little different with group numbers, the ages in the group and other factors, so we do seat at our discretion in order to get everyone seated and give everyone the best chance to see the show. Please be aware that if you have a large number of adults in your group, you may be seated farther back or on the sides, even if you are the first to arrive – our #1 objective is for the kids to be able to see! Please be patient and flexible. No saving of seats is permitted.

No strollers or car seats allowed in the theatre and lobby. Please leave them in your car. Babies and very young children are best left at home, but children two and younger who do attend MUST sit on a parent’s lap and not take a seat. Booster seats are limited, please leave these for children further back in the theatre.
